As a User Interface Designer for EA FIFA franchise, I designed, documented and implemented various User Interfaces and elements for them. During this development cycle, I worked closely and collaboratively with Producers, Software Engineers, UX designers and other experts to create the end product.

With the X-Statement, "We create football culture. We don't follow it", our goal was to blend "Art" and "Science" into visual design for FIFA 21. By exploring number of different visual concepts, aligning with key stakeholders and continuously iterating based on feedback, we were able to come up with a fresh look for FIFA 21 as a team.

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to drive the project and for the wonderful team.

DESIGN PROCESS

Before we started our visual explorations, we brainstormed together to find out what "Art" and "Science" mean to our game. We began by writing down words, having discussions and finding the right keywords that would match the X-Statement and brief before we started to create our mood boards.
